No matter how much you prepare for the trip the first time, you can never fully be ready for what you will experience. In the year since I last went, I have still been processing that trip, and I hope that this year will provide me with some clarity for my lingering questions and curiosities. Last year, I focused on meticulously committing every aspect of the trip to memory. This year, I want to commit my body to the trip and live outside of my head. I am looking forward to reconnecting with those I met in Rwanda last year.
