Oral History & Storytelling Workshop

  • SUNY Buffalo State 1300 Elmwood Avenue Buffalo, NY, 14222 United States

We aim connect students, faculty, staff and community members through shared oral histories and presentations. Our first theme focuses on our refugee and immigrant student population, and the universal feeling of being "othered." The Oral History and Storytelling workshop precedes the film screening of IN SEARCH OF A NATION and a panel discussion with local members of the refugee and immigrant community on 4/22, 2:00PM, at the Burchfield Penney Art Center

"Addressing Othering with Oral History and Storytelling" event series sponsored by Buffalo State's Office of Equity and Campus Diversity mini-grant program, Anne Frank Project, and the Burchfield Penney Art Center.
